I always run the game in windowed mode without input grab ( -NOFULLSCREEN -NOINPUTGRAB) moving the screen around with the keyboard instead. On a semi-related note, there are some undocumented flags on the (Linux) executable. I'm posting this patcher again on GitHub.

I first posted this patch in 2012 on Desura ( ) where I bought the Linux version. I still think 1920x1080 is far better than running at 1024x768, but I recommend not setting the resolution any higher since then some maps are smaller than your screen which causes the cursor to freak out a bit at the edges.
